Welcome to Cars in the park - 2009 Schedule

Cars in the park is a casual gathering of sports/super cars. Its more of a social gathering of like minded car enthusiasts than a traditional car event. Cars range from TVR, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Renault, Lotus, Maserati, MX-5, Smart Roadsters, mini, hot hatch the list grows every time. It Brings together large and small car clubs as well as individuals. It doesn't matter if its new, old, kit or modified. The variety always keeps the event interesting. It's Held in a very nice family friendly location with lots of other things to do when you tire of cars!

Car Entrance Requirements

We have a limited number of places so all tickets must be bought before the event. Using our online secure ticket system. Payment is processed by Google. If you dont have a ticket then you will have to pay the full entrance fee.

Each event only £6 per car with driver and 1 passenger. This is a massive saving on the normal entry price. Only available to members with cars on the list. If your car is not on the list then email me. Tickets are on a first come first serve basis. Click here to register

Small ticket price increase soon, Still a massive saving on normal entrance :)

It will be £7 for two occupants. Driver only entry will drop to £5.50. Tickets at the old price are still valid, so buy before the price increase on June 30th and get the normal deal. If you intend to go then please buy your tickets as soon as possible. This helps with the cashflow as the venue/insurance are paid for in advance.

Harewood House - 13th September 2009

Harewood House, home to the Queen's cousin, the Earl of Harewood, provides a great day out for all the family. The House, with its outstanding art collections, splendid State Rooms and fascinating 'Below Stairs' exhibition, is set in spectacular landscaped grounds, which include formal gardens and gentle woodland walks, a Bhutanese Stupa, waterfall and Himalayan Garden.

Harewood is confirmed for the 13th September.

Tickets on sale now at £6 per car. This includeds one passenger.

Reduced price tickets for other passengers available soon.

Who can display cars

Small and large groups as well as individuals can display. The cars must be Sports/Super cars, Roadsters or sporty cars. The car can be any age as long as its a sports car. The list grows every year so if your not sure just email me. The more fringe or unusual the better.

Members Only?

Tickets can only be booked through a member of this site. You can book on other peoples behalf, as long as you make sure they are aware of the rules of conduct. They must also have a car on the list. Otherwise you may be asked to pay the normal entrance fee.

What happens on the day?

Nothing official. The venue is chosen because of its family appeal. It's a Sunday so the atmosphere is very casual and friendly. So make the best of it and mix. There are no CITP show and shines. Only ones run by the clubs.

I need a few parking assistants. You dont have to own a show car. Free entry into the event for helping park up the cars. Email chris@carsinthepark.org.uk with your details.

Offical Attendance
The number of cars was 297. A good turn out considering very bad weather the night before.
